HL23 is a new 14-floor story condominium building in New York City, designed by Neil Denari Architects. Sited next to the High Line, a new elevated park being built on the ruins of an abandoned railway, the buildings responds gracefully to the challenge of a tiny site in a crowded city.

HL23 grows gently up, out and over the railway to maximize leasable building area while providing dramatic views up and down the adjacent parkway. Cantilevered dramatically over the park, the reverse-tapered building is clad largely in glass to boldly express its interior steel-framing as a piece of urban-scaled sculpture.
