Frank Gehry has been convinced to design a one off furniture piece for the World Company building in Tokyo. It is a visitors bench installed in a huge lobby space and the piece and space seem to work together beautifully. The design seems to straddle the line between transparency and solidity. The form is quite inspiring and it shows that good designers can design just about anything.
