The verticle house offers urban living on a rural site. The concept of a townhouse transposed to the country offers a unique solutions to a very difficult topology, and affords spectacular views of the countryside. Entry is via a long and dramaric bridge to a viewing platform from which on ascends a staircase into th house. The kitchen and the dining areas are located on the first floor, the living area is on the second and the master bedroom is on the third floor. An open air garden is situated on the roof. The intention is that over time the house will become considerally lush as vines grow down from the roof, in effect making the house a modern ruin.

The building consists of 2000 sq. ft. of concrete and steel structure with leak cladding, glass and adjustable brise soleil panels.
